Gastrointestinal research programme
The Gastrointestinal Screening Programme is designed to identify and diagnose gastrointestinal diseases, which often remain asymptomatic until their advanced stages. According to statistics, only one in ten people are aware of their gastrointestinal diseases, which can be aggravated by harmful habits such as smoking, alcohol consumption, self-medication, stress, hereditary diseases and poor diet.
The programme includes preventive blood tests to assess general health and digestive disorders.
