Hepatitis tests

Hepatitis testing is essential for the detection and control of hepatitis, a viral inflammation of the liver, which is most commonly seen in Lithuania in types A, B and C. These tests, which are performed as serological blood tests, allow the disease to be detected at an early stage when symptoms are not yet present. The infection is spread through the bloodstream, so hepatitis tests are essential to prevent further spread of the virus and serious complications such as cirrhosis or even liver cancer. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment increase the chances of success and reduce the risk of health consequences.
