Steps to Obtain a Medical Certificate at “Drops Clinic” Family Clinic

  • Prepare the required documents

    • An identity-confirming document;
    • Driver’s license (if undergoing a repeat check-up);
    • Medical record extract (Form No. 027/a) from the Mental Health Center (if required).*;
    • Medical booklet (Form No. 048/a) – if you are employed as a driver under an employment contract;
    • Certificate from a prosthetics company (if you have limb prosthetics);
    • Don’t have Form No. 027/a? We’ve got you covered! We organize a remote consultation with a psychiatrist, during which the necessary assessment will be conducted. This service costs €40.

      Upon arrival for your health check-up

      • You will complete the “Driver’s Honor Declaration” and the Obstructive Sleep Apnea Questionnaire;
      • You will be examined by specialist doctors who will assess your physical and mental condition;
      • Receive your medical certificate

      • After the health check-up, an electronic driver’s medical certificate (Form No. 083-1/a) is issued. It is automatically sent to VĮ “Regitra” and is accessible via the esveikata.lt system;

The health check-up for Group 2 drivers (C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D1E, D, DE, T categories) costs €40.00.

No, driving with an expired medical certificate is not allowed. If your certificate has expired, you must undergo a new health check-up.

The validity period depends on the driver’s group:

For Group 1 drivers (A, B categories) – the certificate is valid for up to 10 years.
For Group 2 drivers (C, D categories and professional drivers) – the certificate is valid for up to 5 years, or shorter if certain health conditions are identified.

A medical certificate may not be issued if health conditions are identified that could impair safe driving, such as vision disorders, epilepsy, severe heart or mental health conditions, or if the required documentation does not meet the specified criteria.
